I AM going to eat your Captain Crunch. And YOU are going to sit there and watch me eat it.
You forgot the fighter who fights fighters because fighters have to win fights to fight more fights!
Very nice work, sir. You have solid range in both voice and emotion, and the selected dialogue definitely helped to really give a good idea as to who these characters are. Combined with some solid mixing from Mr. Bosco, and what you've got is one solid demo reel.
Your performances are both versatile and powerful. The mixing blends and immerses your characters and makes them fluid and authentic. You waste no time at all with filler, and use strong characters with different emotions and personality traits.
Keep up the superb work!
That mixing really tied the reel together, man.
Buuuuurn baby...
Excellent instrumentals followed by some tremendous vocal talent. I'm feeling the old school punk beat you guys gave this track, and I'm lovin' the retribution the fella in the song gets, heh. But hey, least he went out to his favorite tune, right?
Great stuff as always, Scott!
Thanks Kamran! Glad you enjoyed it! I had a lot of fun putting it together. :)
...Grumpy Old Man or an Evil Genius....?
Very well done, hehe.
It's perhaps the one entry that's actually made me laugh aloud, hehe. You have a sound grasp on your character, the selected dialogue was well performed, hilariously scripted, and downright sadistic...and I lllllloved it. Your delivery was both well toned and paced very nicely, particularly:
"I'm FAILING you ALL! It's an important lesson best learned in youth....you're welcome."
A very well made entry for the NGF11 contest. Best of luck, and great work.
mucho thanks :)
Mmm-mmm
Between superb voice acting from GeneralIvan, a funny script, great mixing, sfx editing, and just an all around absurdly spectacular short, I suddenly REALLY want an Animal style ass-burger...
Edwyn, let me just say...
That was some of the most enjoyable 60 seconds I've experienced all week. Dave's craziness, the mate's escaping the loony bin, and just all of Dave's mannerisms. "Yar ye be talking behind me back, yar." Just everything one could ask for in pirate related
shenanigans.
Yar, yee deserve a 10/10, the victory of this competition, the buried treasure worth 150 deblums...and all the corn in Iowa, lad. Excellent work, matey.
What can I say?
I remember this song when I played this game on Subsistence. It was MGS at it's peak, and you recaptured it perfectly. The orchestrated form you give it versus the MSX music it originally came with, seriously makes your version sound better than the original, and I'm not overexaggerating when I say that.
All in all:
10/10
5/5
Bumping you to a 4.40, you deserve a higher score than that bud, this is gold. Keep up the great work.
